Devices
When you have SARALWEB's attendance marking devices, installed at your location, they can be managed using this respective folder. Please note that this folder
is available for admin accounts only and can be used to manage the devices available at your premises. To access the Devices
folder follow the below mentioned steps
- Once you have logged into your SARALWEB admin account, select Devices folder.
- The Devices folder will open on your screen
Adding a device to your location
Once you have bought an attendance marking device, it's code would be provided to you by SARALWEB's support team. To activate/ add the device, please follow the below mentioned steps:
Once you have logged into your SARALWEB admin account, select
Devices folder. The Device folder will open on your
screen. Previously added devices will be listed on your screenYou will see Actions button on the top left hand side. Click on it
and you will find options namely Delete Device and
Create Device.Click on Create Device. A create device tab will open on your screen.
Fill in the following details
- Name - Name of the device being added
- Device Code - The device code that you wish to provide to the device.
- Saralweb Device Code - This would be provided to you by Saralweb's support team. Fill in the Saralweb Device code.
- Device Type - Select the usage of the device from the following options
- In Device : Used to mark the entry of the employees while they are entering your premises
- Out Device : Used to mark the exit of the employees while they are leaving your premises.
- Registration Device: A standalone device that is installed for registering the emplyoees faces only. Please note that registration can be done on any device but the HR admin may registers the face using
registration device, to ensure that purity of face id's being registered. - Access Control: When the device is used to control the access to designated location, but doesn't contribute to employees' attendance.
- Site - Select the site id, at which this attendance device would be installed. The device will mark events (attendance) of employees allocated to respective site only.
Click on the Create Device button, available on the top right hand corner of the screen.
The device would be added to your location and can be used to mark employee attendance.
